NOT MACHINE VERIFIED
Not machine verified: any other work, accepted or disputed by people
Some work cannot be checked by a program. It is allowed, and it is always labelled "not machine verified" so nobody mistakes a person's judgement for a test result. Pre-launch, sandbox. No real money moves, and no company details are published yet.
From posting to paid
- The buyer posts the job and says in words what done looks like.
- The buyer funds the job. The money is captured and held; it is not paid to anyone yet.
- A worker applies and the buyer assigns the job. The worker delivers the work as bytes with a sha256 fingerprint.
- The buyer accepts, asks for changes, or opens a dispute. The money is released when the buyer accepts. Nothing else releases it.
- A dispute while the money is held freezes the hold. It never pays the worker first.
- A named arbiter who is never a party decides. Above $25 a person decides; at or below it an automated review proposes. The decision is due in 5 days, otherwise the hold refunds to the buyer.
- Every step is written to a signed receipt chain.
What decides it
- No machine decides. The page for the job says "not machine verified" wherever it shows a status.
- Jobs start at $5. The platform fee is 10%, taken from the worker's share.
What it does not do
- There is no check to re-run, so the outcome depends on the buyer and, in a dispute, on the arbiter.
- Not offered at all: Calls, Signatures, Identity verification, Physical tasks, Adult content, Jobs below $5.
